Overview

Law firm seeking a professional with strong writing and analytical skills to work directly on technical client matters for a specialized practice group. The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term career with a practice group that values accountability, reliability, and teamwork. Day-to-day activities involve analyzing complex facts and technical rules, and producing clear and concise narratives based on that analysis. 

Responsibilities

Job Duties and Responsibilities


• Independently review and analyze complex files thoroughly, including medical records, tax records, correspondence, and similar materials
• Write unbiased, complete, and concise summaries of the facts, while using discretion to write recommendations for further action
• Compose clear and concise letters involving complex matters in deliverable form for client
• Collaborate with team to design and provide strategic responses to a high volume of complex matters
• Review work product of team members and provide editorial comments and technical suggestions

Qualifications

Education and Experience


• Bachelor’s Degree required
• At least 5 years of substantial writing and/or editing experience
• Experience reviewing medical records preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred

Compensation


• Base salary $130,000
• Full benefits including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, 401K contribution, generous paid leave policies, family-planning benefits, tuition reimbursement, etc.
• Fully remote working environment
